This is My First Blog Post
Howdy! My name is Melissa (no last name given), and I am a senior in college working towards a studio art degree. My experience with animation is... not much. A short animation from a beginning VADA class that basically left me with no instruction, and a more successful run of animation in my Visual Story Telling class due to the guidance of a wonderful teacher ☺. I have made one really bad animation, and one solid animatic. Though animating is scary, I hope I will be able to get the hang of it in this class as I have hopes for the future to integrate animation in my works. My goal, however bold it may be, is to be able to make fluid animations akin to let's say Ghibli films or Disney movies. Yes it is my dream, but man is that gonna be hard. I'll be immensely happy if I can create something that looks like it dropped out of an anime. That would be cool. But I fear that I'll just end up with something that looks like Home Movies...
